Jeju Flounder is Asia’s only flounder farm in the clean seawater of Jeju mixed with groundwater pumped from 100m underground to grow the healthiest, best quality flounders. Jeju Island, boasting clear waters, clean air and pollution free environment, has a temperate climate with about 16°C average temperature year-round to grow fishery produce all year. The seas are on a continental shelf with a low depth at around 100m are full of dissolved oxygen and known t be optimal for farming fish that grow in warm water as its water temperature ranges between 12°C and 28°C Geologically, it can maintain the water temperature at around 21°C along the southeastern coast with clean and mineral enriched seawater from underground with consistent water temperature (17~18°C). Therefore, it can create the best environment for flounders all year.
